(BOISE, ID – April 22, 2013) – Albertsons LLC announced today a three-year extension for the Albertsons Boise Open presented by Kraft Web.com Tour event for 2014, 2015 and 2016.
A Boise tradition since 1990, the tournament has brought some of golf’s greatest up and coming talent to the area while also playing a vital role in helping local charities. Albertsons LLC’s Chief Operating Officer Bob Butler said, “We are very pleased to continue this great tradition here in our home town. I have watched this tournament grow and the competition get tougher and tougher with each year, and I’ve also been able to see the positive impact of this event on hundreds of charities throughout the Treasure Valley. It’s a tremendous privilege to be part of it.”

The Albertsons Boise Open presented by Kraft has given over $15 Million to hundreds of Treasure Valley charities since the tournament began and has given over $1 Million to charities in each of the last 7 years.
The fact that Albertsons has been the only title sponsor since the beginning is not lost on the PGA TOUR.
