The event included tournament and charity updates from Albertsons Companies EVP and Chief Operations Officer, Susan Morris and Jeff Sanders Entertainment (JSE) CEO, Jeff Sanders as well as a Q&A with the legendary & colorful golf broadcaster, Gary McCord. As part of the exclusive interview for those in attendance, McCord entertained guests with his unique golf insights and stories as well as discussing the great golf over the years and the record charity results at the Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron. So far this PGA TOUR season, 26 of 31 tournaments have been won by players who came through Boise on the Korn Ferry Tour in recent years including World Number 1 ranked player and Masters Champion Scottie Scheffler, PGA Championship winner Xander Schauffele, U.S. Open Champion Bryson DeChambeau, Akshay Bhatia, Wyndham Clark, Chris Kirk and many more. Recently named the U.S. Ryder Cup Captain, Keegan Bradley, also competed in the Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron in 2010 finishing in a tie for third. The Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron will be the first of four Korn Ferry Tour Finals events to feature the top Korn Ferry Tour players from the 2024 regular season as they compete for 30 PGA TOUR cards for the 2025 PGA TOUR season. Albertsons EVP and Chief Operations Officer, Susan Morris spoke about the Albertsons Boise Open’s rich history of supporting charity, raising nearly $36 Million since 1990. She explained that once again 100% of all tickets sales will support local charities thanks to the Mondelez Tickets Support Charity Program. All ticket purchasers will select one of 40 local charities that their ticket purchase will support. Following Morris, Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron Executive Director and JSE CEO, Jeff Sanders, spoke to the crowd about the exciting fan experience at the event this August 22-25. Again this year, the event will feature three nights of concerts after golf on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, August 22-24 at Hillcrest Country Club. The concerts will kick off following golf on Thursday, August 22nd with Jon Pardi. Currently headlining his worldwide Mr. Saturday Night World Tour, Pardi recently released new music from an upcoming project, “Cowboys and Plowboys” ft. Luke Bryan, as the follow up single to his sixth career #1 on Country radio, “Your Heart Or Mine,” off of his ACM Album of the Year nominated project, Mr. Saturday Night. The album earned Pardi back-to-back Album of the Year nominations and reunited the producing team of Bart Butler, Ryan Gore and Pardi, the same team behind the boards of his critically acclaimed CMA and ACM Album of the Year nominated project, Heartache Medication. Heartache Medication debuted among the top albums on Billboard’s Country Albums chart and was named in 2019 Rolling Stone’s “Best Album of the Year” and by the Los Angeles Times as one of the (Top 10) “Best Albums of the Year.” Following golf on Friday night, Daryl Hall will take the stage. Daryl Hall is a modern-day renaissance man, an inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the best-selling duo of all time, the star of his very own award-winning web series-turned-TV staple, Live from Daryl’s House, as well as a successful venue owner with “Daryl’s House,” a restored venue and live music space in Pawling, N.Y. Since signing his first record deal in 1972, the Philadelphia soul man is still achieving career milestones more than four decades later, continuing to perform with his band to sold out venues everywhere. On Saturday night, Goo Goo Dolls will rock the stage. Formed by Rzeznik and Takac in Buffalo, NY during 1986, Goo Goo Dolls have quietly broken records, contributed a string of staples to the American songbook, connected to millions of fans, and indelibly impacted popular music for three-plus decades. Beyond selling 15 million records worldwide, the group has garnered four GRAMMY® Award nominations and nearly a dozen platinum & gold singles combined, and seized a page in the history books by achieving 16 number one and Top 10 hits. As a result, they hold the all-time radio record for “Most Top 10 Singles.” Among a string of hits, “Iris” clutched #1 on the Hot 100 for 18 straight weeks and would be named “#1 Top 40 Song of the Last 20 Years.” On the heels of going viral on TikTok, the track recently achieved seven-times-platinum status and re-entered the Billboard charts, yet again proving the timelessness of Goo Goo Dolls’ illustrious catalog. Thursday and Saturday tickets for golf and the concerts are already sold out and Friday tickets are expected to sell out soon. The concerts will be held at Hillcrest CC on the 18th fairway and will start immediately after golf concludes. Concert admission is included with the purchase of daily tickets and four-day passes - there will not be any additional charges or upgraded tickets needed to enjoy the concerts after golf. The concerts are sponsored by Smithfield Foods on Thursday, Tyson Foods on Friday and Sanderson Farms on Saturday. In addition to the great golf and concert admission, all tickets will include admission to four on-course hospitality venues - the Albertsons Wine Bar & Chill Zone and the Michelob Ultra Fan Pavilion featuring Beers Fore Birdies on the 16th green, the Corona Premier Beach club on the 10th green and the Coors Light Fan Deck on the 18th green. Sunday’s Final Round will feature Junior Day sponsored by St. Luke’s Health Plan. Junior Day will include a free tournament logoed hat and lunch for the first 500 kids in attendance as well as free golf games and golf lessons from PGA Professionals. Plus, all juniors can enjoy the final round action and witness the crowning of the Champion! Daily tickets are $30 for Thursday (sold out), Friday (still available), and Saturday (sold out) and just $10 for Sunday’s final round and Junior Day.
