Charity has always been the cornerstone of the Albertsons Boise Open, and to this day the tournament continues to raise the bar for charitable contributions on the Web.com Tour. In its 26-year history, the tournament has raised over $20 Million for Treasure Valley non-profits — that’s more money generated for charity than any other Web.com Tour event! In 2016, the Albertsons Boise Open generated $1.4 Million for local charities, marking the tenth straight year the event has contributed over $1 Million. The tournament has become the number one charity fundraiser in the state of Idaho. That success is the result of the hard work of a dedicated team and a strong foundation of loyal sponsors, volunteers and supporters.
A major component of the Albertsons Boise Open’s charitable efforts is the Tyson Foods Tyson Foods TICKETS Fore CHARITY™ program. Thanks to the program, 100% of the proceeds from all tournament ticket sales go directly to participating charities in the Treasure Valley. The Tyson Foods Tyson Foods TICKETS Fore CHARITY program has generated over $8 Million for Boise-area non-profit organizations since its inception in 2001.
The Albertsons Boise Open encourages all local non-profit organizations to sign up and take advantage of the Tyson Foods Tyson Foods TICKETS Fore CHARITY program. For more information on this incredible fundraising opportunity, please email Sheila Guernsey or call (208) 336-3029 ext.206. The Albertsons Boise Open turns 27 in September 2016, and it promises to be one of the best events ever! The tournament will once again play an important role in improving life in the Treasure Valley through its significant contributions to deserving local charities.
